Illustration Friday - CLEAN

This is a T-shirt design I did ten years ago for Delmarva's annual Coastal Cleanup. Volunteers receive a shirt when they help clean up the waterways around the DELaware MARyland VirginiA peninsula. I created the "fishy" font for the shirt itself.

Adobe Illustrator.

What a nice palette, and I love your font - cute but still very readable at a distance for a Tshirt. Cool and summery!

Nice - clean theme and clean design, t'boot. Man, it was so hot here the other day, we had to escape to the air-conditioning of a movie theatre for the better part of the afternoon. Thank god we're freelancers and decide when to take a day off!

I can imagine what a neat T-shirt this makes! I love the font you designed...you really do have such finesse with lettering! The little sea creatures seem to be dancing around the sign...maybe they're singing, "hurray...someone's gonna clean my house"! Great colors, too..very seaside and beachy.

Nice cleanup Amy. No, I mean it!!!! Considering I went swimming in Delaware in 1999 and I came out of the water with a hypodermic needle sticking out of my ass!!!!! Do I need to send my retroactive hospital bills to you in Jersey??? Huh? Do I?!!! Oh, and did they even have Illustrator in 1996!!!?? That's suspect too!

Just kidding...I like your art. It's one shell of a piece. ;)

We've got around 110 heat indexes out here. Everyday I hope not to melt into the asphalt as I walk to my car in the parking lot.
I really like your t-shirt design. I like how you've left some white in the icons. It makes it light and fun!

Great job Amy! Nowadays we need a lot more than people cleaning up beaches, unfortunately. Our beaches down here in DE were not on the "dirty beach list" this year! How about up there? Sad isn't it?!

Hey! How did I miss this last week? Whadda flake am I. Great t-design. A wonderful reward for clean-up duty. Hope it's cooling down. It's finally settled down here in Calif... still warmer than usual in the Salinas Valley.
