Amy - this is so perfect for both challenges! I love how you've achieved that lacquered look on the nails. The blue background with the floral pattern gives it a nice feminine touch along with the pretty border. I like the tones of the red and blue as well! Happy 4th:>

i looked at this yesterday when u 1st posted it and thought it was great and now im looking at it again and still think so, but i'm sitting here in anticapation waiting for that lush red drop of nail polish to splash down on that bare nail. hope ur 4th was a good 1

Thanks for your kind word on my blog, they're always appreciated...and yes, I used masking fuid to do all the white elements on the illo...I thought I'd retain my sanity this way :-) I'm loving this masking fluid thing, saves lots of frustration when doing detailed work. I'm glad you liked it. I LOVED yours!

Fantastic work!
I especially like the part that the thick red nail polish is just dropping on the bare nail.
It must be really sticky for a while.
