Illustration Friday - CAPTURE

Chameleons, along with being able to adapt and blend with their environments, also have long, sticky tongues with which they capture their prey. This can happen at up to 16 feet per second. Yikes!

Mostly played around this week, and experimented with ink, watercolors, gouache and Photoshop.

Wonderful! I love the tongue - the whole piece looks like a very cool stamp because of the border. I love it!!

Damn you Amy Zaleski, damn you to hell! You JUST HAD TO plant that seed didn't you??? Chameleon! Bah! I had to turn my iTunes on and listen to Culture Club's "Kharma Chameleon" just to get Boy George to stop screaming it in my head!

I missed this last week...I just got so caught up in "stuff" that I never really visted everyone's blogs. I love the colors and the texture you achieved with your mixed media approach. This makes me very happy that I'm not chameleon food:> And...I love your letter E!
