Illustration Friday ~ COMMUNICATION

Here is something I did for a book project...This young lady is learning the power of communication through the written word - something that seems to be falling by the wayside in the age of email.

Adobe Illustrator.

This is really nice, Amy! I love the colors and composition. Such a nice mood you created. Thanks for your comments too! I'm having fun trying different styles. Time for a change soon though I think.

She looks so blissfully peaceful in her own world, lost in a sea of thoughts....and she also looks warm! I can't wait until our sunny flower-filled days return.

Beautiful Amy :)
I agree, I'm a lover of handwriting too. A friend and I always handwrite our little notes, then scan them and send them vía email :o)
Big hug!

Wow, how long has it been since any of us recieved a hand written letter? Or sent one for that matter. A lost art. Remember all those rules about where to write the address and how to start a letter and all that stuff. We had to learn all that at school, back in the day. I wonder if they still teach that?

amy… this is a very nice illustration… and the comments about e-mail are so true… i think we will have lost a great deal of our originality and creativity for our history books…
