These two cats are the only Scottish Folds with whom I have ever been acquainted. The big guy on the left, Angus McGee (or "Mac" as he is called), belongs to my in-laws; the curious Calico is my cat, Nugget. Nugget is clearly on his turf. And, no, Mac's ears aren't flattened because he's angry, that's just the breed.
Colored pencil drawing.

NEAT cats!!! Very nice illustration!
Beautiful work - the fabric and furs look great!
lovely illo...you really captured their characters
wawww great cats !
Great interpretation of cats and their postures. Your curious cat with craning neck... What's in the other room? Very nice.
Mr. Angus looks very substantial. I like the poses and curious character you depicted!
Duh... I didn't read joli's post first, really!
it is perfect..
This is a beautiful colored pencil drawing. You are very talented!!
Thanks everyone for your nice comments!
Angus is quite a substantial cat. He's about 8 years older than Nugget, and this was drawn from a photo taken when she was barely a year old. So they were on different wavelengths to say the least.
Twisselman, the door leads to a deck overlooking a lake. There are tons of birds back there, so I'm sure that's what's craning the little one's neck.
Scottish Folds are a very unique breed - very docile, with huge eyes and rabbit-soft fur.
I fell in love with Angus and just had to have a Fold of my own - not easy to find!
AWESOME! Love the woodwork, and the way you caputured the cats is wonderful!! VERY nice!!!
I've always wanted a Scottish Fold! You have a real talent with your colored pencils. These cats and their environs are so well drawn.
Beautiful, Amy! You so masterfully created the diffferent textures of the fur and the rug, and i love the sinuous line of the calico cat. Wonderful, wonderful work:>
this is a very nice drawing, the markings on the fur are very good, something I always find tricky to do!
i also love your cats doing the housework :)
nice work! diggin the attention to detail.
the detail, texture, and how you have illustrated the movement are really fantastic.
