Wow! That's great rain! I love the patterns on the umbrella - I think I need one just like it:> The border makes it look like a postage stamp...how pretty would that be? Happy Spring!
Charming! This is the first spring rain illo I've seen. How perfect. Our April has been rainy so far. Love your style. And I missed your monster somehow last week. I adore it! Now that I have the new firefox I can keep track of bloggers new posts with RSS feed. yay!
Beautiful! It really gives that Springtime feeling. Also, always love when elements are hidden - either by breaking the picture plane or by having an umbrella cover it up- it allows the viewer more participation in the piece. Thanks for your comment on the Curlychicken/pigeon.
Fantastic illo Amy. You have a wonderful sense of design. I love the retro appeal to this piece. The colors are quite fitting to the spring subject matter as well....
I'm going to stop typing now because I'm starting to sound like a stuffy newspaper art critic. Awesome job, keep it up!
Excellent job here. I really like the patterns and angle of the umbrella here--you just gave me a great idea for my art students! I find this to be sort of romantic too, in a very innocent way. Great work!
Romantic! A precious illustration. I missed this last time around. Yes, like Carla, the border made me think of what a gorgeous postage stamp this would make.

Very nice! I like the colors you used, very spring and easter-y. Great job on this!
Beautiful illustration. The unbrella reminds me of a quilt.
I like the way you incorporated the April Showers and Romance into one very springtimey picture.
This is fantastic! I love the coloring...and, it is perfect for springtime!! Hmmm...I wonder what they're doing underneath the umbrella? LOL!
i like everything about it esp. the idea of having to share an umbrella with somebody. you have done a great job with the rain.
it has been raining here also for days now and your illustration makes my heart glad and reminished some young puppy love of mine experience.

This reminds me of Alice in Wonderland on a walk with her secret admirer, a very dapper dude by the way! Wonderful with an air of spring mystery!
This illustration is so sweet! I've missed this sweet subject!
Amy, this is so romantic. Sigh, you know me. I hear a sweet song playing here... something from Sound of Music.
